Be Kind To Yourself!

I’ve been going through some health issues. It all started with my accident in March and it’s gone downhill from there; tooth infection and subsequent extraction, bad cold and some kind of MS flare. I could choose to think negatively i.e. think that this is my new normal and that the things I’m feeling won’t go away. Believe me I have had moments when those thoughts were front and centre of my mind. However, I am not going to stick with that negativity. I’m choosing to think more positively. This is just a moment. It is not permanent. I will recover and be stronger.

In the meantime I am trying to be kind to myself, to give myself grace. It is during the tough times that our body needs loving care the most. So I hope that when life throws you a curve ball you will remember to spend time on yourself in the most patient and loving of ways!

I’m going to try some of the self-care ideas listed above to slide into a restful sleep and hopefully wake up feeling a little bit better. I am Pretty, Plus and Proud of how hard my body is fighting to get well so I’m going to do everything I have to, to support that healing process.
